THINGS TO DO WHILE IN SF:
Aside from the obvious landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower or the crooked Lombard Street, there are a ton of other art and cultural sites to visit.
Here are a few suggestions to help you plan your trip:
SFMoMA – Now the largest modern art museum in the US, just reopened with a brand new wing which has doubled the size of its collection!
North Beach – aka Little Italy, preserves some of the city’s most vibrant culture of urban bars and nightlife. If you’re looking for some great bookstores, make sure to check out William Stout for art, design & architecture and City Lights (right next to Kerouac alley)
The Mission District – Hipsters rejoice. The mission is a must-see destination. Take a stroll down Valencia and visit some of the unique boutiques and restaurants. Head over to Mission street and maybe check out a movie at the newly restored Alamo Drafthouse or play a few holes at Urban Putt an indoor putting range, bar & restaurant.
Still bored? Check out some other off the beaten path destinations.
